Research Focus

The focus of this research is to look for innovative and environment-friendly methods to manage charcoal rot disease.

Objectives

  • Identify and characterize mycoviruses that naturally infect CRF population in Mississippi.
  • Study the effect of selected viruses on CRF and further explorations by inoculating soybean plants.

Results

Results will be updated once the research project is complete.

Importance

This research is important as it will assist farmers in being able to control rot disease.
