Research Focus
The focus of this project is to create a new publication that will include the most up to date information on profitable soybean production in Kentucky.
Objectives
To print and distribute a newly developed soybean production guide for Kentucky producers.
Results
- Initially 2,500 copies of the Comprehensive Guide to Soybean Management in Kentucky were anticipated to be printed. Negotiating a better price, 4000 copies were able to be printed.
- The publications were received in late-June and were available for distribution at the annual Soybean Field Day in July 2018.
- Since July 2018 almost 500 copies have been distributed with plans to continue to distribute to farmers at various events for the next several years.
Importance
This management guide greatly benefits the farmers by having one resource that comprehensively details soybean production in Kentucky.
